If data is processed outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure compliance with the European level of data protection through appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses).<\/span><\/span><\/p><h2 data-section-id=\"8uf3m2\" data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2298\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">5. Technical metadata (e.g., connection logs) are retained only as long as necessary to ensure technical operation and IT security. Documentation data from the consultation (e.g., notes on the incident) are stored in accordance with statutory retention periods.<\/span><\/span><\/p><h2 data-section-id=\"1trgbom\" data-start=\"2721\" data-end=\"2738\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">6.
